Chesh

Chesh is a two-player digital boardgame of skill and strategy that looks an awful lot like chess, but plays with a drastically different set of rules. Every game of Chesh starts with different pieces, and each piece has a random movement rule assigned to it. It is up to each player to figure out what everything does, and how to use what's been given to you in order to win! Featuring the work of 30+ artists, each of Chesh's 533 pieces have a distinct look all their own and lend themselves to the unique gameplay experienced every time. A wide range of modes exist both in the form of challenge modes (Bullet Chesh, Infinite Chesh, Blitz Chesh) as well as local, online, and AI multiplayer. Chesh is the first mobile game from Damian Sommer initially conceptualized at Toronto Game Jam 9, and features the sound design of Ryan Roth.
